I’m proud to announce that Surreal Landscapes is now available on Amazon. You can listen to the first single off the disk, “Symbols Of Ancient Times,” by clicking here. If you have taste for down-tempo ambient music a la The Orb, Delerium, The Future Sound of London… This disk is for you!
A soon as we locate a reliable server that works with our free music philosophy, the disk will be made available on this website as well.
The Neuroexorcism project actually predates Media Violence, beginning in 2000 and taking it’s name from an Another Earthly Dimension song. The project was a PDM mainstay until the development of Media Violence. Over the years, the project became a dumping ground for unused MV instrumental tracks.
Surreal Landscapes is the 4th full length album carrying the project name, and signifies a new direction for Neureoxorcism. It was written from July to September 2010, at Pleasure Audio, the current Media Violence Inc studios, located at the beach on Virginia Beach.
The photography on the disk was done by my beautiful Fiance, Chris (soon to be McCormick) Bailey. Here’s a plug for her website which offers photo products and services.

Aggressive Attack, Neuroexorcism, Media Violence, Cage Clinic and more!
A lot of things are brewing here at Media Violence Inc. Here’s a list of projects and where they are in reference to there completion.
- NEUROEXORCISM – “Surreal Landscapes” – Album is 100% completed, proof is in, everything looking good towards its release to Amazon and the web very soon.
- AGGRESSIVE ATTACK - “A Burning Reality” – Record is about 80% complete. Still have some vocal recording left. Mixing, Mastering left.
- CAGE CLINIC – “to be nothing” – Album is 50% completed. Album will consist of 4 – 20m “prepare piano” pieces a la John Cage in combination with Cage Clinic atmospheres.
- MEDIA VIOLENCE – 30% “A Decade of Violence” – 2 disks to be released. 1st disk is a retrospective of the past ten years of Media Violence work. 2nd disk will be unreleased work, reworkings of older tracks, and remixes.
- PATRICK D MCCORMICK - Unititled spoken word CD – 20% completed. Selected poems written and read by yours truly backed with subtle atmospheres.
There’s a ton of work to do. But I am having fun putting these projects together. I look forward to releasing them to the web for you to download and of course all released will be available from Amazon as well.
